The Sims 4 Infant Update

The long awaited The Sims 4 update featuring infants will arrive on March 14th, 2023!

EA will add a new life stage in the game – infants. It will be the perfect life stage to transition from a baby into a toddler, and still get to live out the life stage. The teaser showed how the development team went about designing, creating and animating the infants, as well as showed us a glimpse of cute infant animations when they’re moving around, trying to sit or walk. The infants will have new cute traits and EA showcased some Create-A-Sim items, too. New glasses, onesies, teeth, hair, birthmarks, clothing and shoes will be available for free when the patch gets released this spring. There will be additional buy mode items such as cribs and toys to make this life stage more realistic. Some new interactions between infants and children or adults, OR animals will be included too!

That’s all we currently know about infants, with more info to be released when the patch drops. Some simmers are also speculating that in March we will not only get the infant update, but also a new Expansion Pack. It’s rumored to be a Generations inspired expansion pack, which would fit perfectly with the new life stage – infants!
