Sims 4 For Rent CAS Item Overview
The last EP of 2023 has arrived – The Sims 4 For Rent expansion pack. This EP’s Create-A-Sim items are more focused on relaxed clothing style, South Asian traditional clothes, as well as some career specific jumpsuits, or tops and bottoms for warmer weather. While the previous EP Growing Together had lots of knitwear and sweaters, For Rent EP comes with blouses, tunics, shirts, tank tops made for warmer climate and/or summer.
The funny thing is that in this Expansion Pack you will get a lot of shorts! Most of them are of similar length and colors swatches. By the way, the color swatches are consistent throughout this pack, and the purple color clothes definitely are a miss, however the beige, brown, black, white, blue swatches make all of the clothing items look great, of course combined with some traditional patterns.
Surprisingly the men received a nice amount of CAS items, too! While the bottoms are more geared towards spring/summer, the shirts, tops and tank tops can be worn for various occasions. I think this Expansion Pack is great for adding more nice and usable clothing items for male sims.
The hair is pretty nice for Maxis hair, however if you were looking for long hairstyles, well, there are only a few. Majority of the hairstyles are actually medium length but they look good, and definitely can be versatile!
There are hairstyles for male sims, which is always nice! The male hairstyles actually are similar to CC maxis match or alpha hairstyles already available.
Shoes are pretty useful, right? This EP includes sneakers and sandals, which are great, again for summer, but also for streetstyle! Maxis did a good job designing shoes for this pack.
OK, but the amount of new clothes for infants is something we must talk about! It’s great that they added more stuff for the newest (and youngest) life stage for The Sims 4 For Rent EP, too. Lots of cute summer tops and shorts, and fruit themed outfits for infants, and some cute dresses for toddlers & kids.
In conclusion, if you love the South Asian style and a more laid back summer clothing collection is what you’re looking for, then get this EP for that! (Also, get this EP is you want a lot of cool male clothing and useful men’s hairstyles) However, a lot of these clothes are already in the game, maybe with different patterns and other elements. Like the last EP, Sims 4 For Rent EP is more focused on the gameplay and other aspects than CAS, however it’s nice that EA added more stuff for the sim creators as well!
